Experience Español’s philosophy is based on a belief that children discover and deepen their passions through exposure to different ideas, perspectives and activities. It is important for children to spend time in nature, develop projects that align with their interests, and have opportunities to give back to their community. We also believe that an immersive environment that promotes the use of Spanish in all language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) is best especially for young children’s language and cultural acquisition. We highly value literacy development in Spanish as a means of uplifting the perception of the Spanish language as not only an oral but also an academic and prestigious language with many benefits. We also believe that foundational to students’ development is guidance in their socio-emotional learning. Children will be guided to work on problem-solving and listening skills to promote prosocial, community-building behaviors.
